It is a tradition to recite a misheberach, a special blessing, during the Shabbat Torah reading for health of family, friends, and community members who are seriously ill, about to go for major surgery or are recovering from major surgery.

East Northport Jewish Center would be glad to include the name of your family, friends, and community members. It is customary to make a charitable donation in their name. This is recognized as a deed of "Tzedakah". Any donations can be forwarded to: East Northport Jewish Center, 328 Elwood Road, East Northport, New York 11731, and in the memo section of your checks place "Misheberach Donation".
